JOURNEY

My name is Giang Le, people normally call me Chloe. In my previous position, I worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Y-group in Western Australia. Flashback to high school, I started to have a passion for fashion when I found out that fashion is the best way for me to express myself and present my personality to a group of people. To me creating fashion as well as other forms of art shows my value. Being able to work in the creative industry and design clothing for people to make them feel more confident in themselves has always been my dream.

Graduated from Curtin University doing a bachelor’s degree in commerce, majoring in Marketing and minoring in Fashion Design, I was fortunate enough to be able to gain my first marketing role from my internship. My role was to create content and manage up to 7 brands’ branding, social media, email marketing, and website. Throughout the one year of my marketing experience, I have gained skills such as:

Social media management for multiple brands from the coffee and food industry:

  • The Northbridge Coffee Roasters, Fiori Coffee, Crema Coffee Co, Valley Roasting Co, European Foods, Cheese Cathedral, My Hamper Place.

Photography & Videography:

  • Using a professional camera (Sony A7IV)

Content Creation

  • Content Scheduling: Hootsuit, and Meta
  • Editing skills: Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Capcut
  • Graphic design skills: Adobe Illustration, Adobe InDesign, Canva

Website management:

  • Shopify, and Wix

Email marketing:

  • Klaviyo, and Campaign Monitor

Brand planning

The more I get exposed to the work field, the more I learn that I am interested in brand design, photography, videography, and content creation. I have found a new passion in marketing and creating content. My dream is to open my own creative agency in the future, working closely to the fashion industry.

I’m currently working as a freelancer operating from Perspective Agency owned by myself. I look after my client’s social media and do photography and content creation on the side. Due to the requirements of my freelance job, I have gain more experience in generating UGC content.

Overall, I am a creative person who loves to work in a creative environment. I would be delighted to use the skills and knowledge I learned to apply to perform my best in any position I am given.
